FAQ

When should I book my maternity session? How far along should I be?

A. It's never too early to book your maternity session. If fact, the earlier you book the more time we have to plan/style your photos and experience with me. I know sometimes we ponder whether or not we want maternity photos for so long we forget to actually book them - It never hurts to check on the availability of your photographer even if you're pretty far along!

Optimally I suggest booking for anywhere between 32-36 weeks pregnant. This time frame allows for a beatiful round baby bump and also time to receive your photos before baby arrives.

Do you have a client closet? Do you help with styling?

A. Yes! Styling and the colours we choose really bring the artwork together. I have a unique hand-picked collection of gowns for mothers to choose from. These range in size from XS to Plus Size for both maternity and non-maternity. I also carry a variety of children's clothing and vintage layers and fabrics for newborn sessions.

If you decide to choose your own wardrobe for the session, we can work as a team to make sure it really comes together.

Aesthetics and colours of your home can really come in to play here if you are hoping to display your artwork on your walls.

When will we get our photos? How many pictures will we receive?

A. You will receive a downloadable online gallery link with your photos within 4 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season).

All of my sessions guarantee high resolution professionally edited images.

When should I book my newborn session?

A. I usually recommend booking your newborn session for 7-10 days after your due date (there is always wiggle room for these sessions).

Do you offer any packages for maternity/newborn?

A. At this time I do not offer any packages.

Do you shoot Weddings?

A. I am currently taking 8-10 weddings per year. All information on what I offer can be found on my Investment page. If you think we might be a good match please send an email to justineellisphotography@gmail.com or head over to my inquiry page.
